Now through December 24 Brooklyn 30 different purveyors set up shop across the river at Artists & Fleas’ seasonal pop-up bazaar. You will find well crafted trendy and non-commercial holiday themed gifts made from locals in the area.
2. Union Square Holiday Market
This European-style winter market hosts over 150 local and national vendors show casing an impressive selection of handcrafted gifts like jewelry and accessories to leather goods and artwork.
Now through December 29th check out Whiplash. Started by Leo Allen, this extremely popular show has run for more than five years and is home to the best up-and-comers and biggest names in comedy.
4. Holiday Windows
Starting in mid-november many stores along Fifth Avenue and other streets in midtown create their magical annual holiday windows. Stroll the streets and get put in the holiday spirit in style!
5. Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park Rink
Bryant Park’s 17,000 sq ft outdoor skating rink is free and open late! Keep in mind that it will only be truly free if you bring your own skates otherwise they are $19 a pop.
6. New Year’s Eve Fireworks in Time Square
